The selection of the candidates to participate in this year 9th UNESCO Youth Forum “Young Global Citizens for a Sustainable Planet” which will take place in Paris on 26-28 October and gather more than 500 young men and women from all over the world has finally completed.

Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Charitable Foundation jointly with the ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has selected three candidates decent to represent Ukraine’ interests on a global level.

They are competent, goal oriented and full of ambitions.

So we are more than happy to introduce them to you!

Marta Levytska

Lawyer at the Lviv Centre for International Law and Human Rights. Studying at MA programmer in international law at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Volunteer, interpreter. Also studied at the Vilnius University under the exchange programme.Fluent in 4 languages. Passed internships at the Ombudsman Office, Amnesty International, Ukrainian Embassy to Lithuania. Participated in international conferences, summer schools and European Forum in Alpbach.

Alina Bugar

Member of the “Young Generation Will Change Ukraine” Association, project coordinator in youth leadership, international relations, diplomatic protocol. Got MA in international relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Founder of the “Art of Protocol” social initiative, activist of the NGO “Youth Diplomatic Initiative”. Under the “Open World” programme passed internship in Washington and New York. Co-founder of the Ukrainian-Baltic Forum.

Volodymyr Riznichenko

Member of the All-Ukrainian Youth NGO “National Youth council of Ukraine”, interpreter, volunteer journalist at the All-Ukrainian resource centre “HURT”. Fluent in 5 languages. Four year student of the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National university of Kyiv, Head of the Scientific Association of Students and Postgraduates, member of the Scientific Council. Passed internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Represented Ukraine at the Global Youth Forum preparatory meeting in Brussels, Belgium.
